Behind the Image

During a planned overnight excursion near Glassillaun Beach, there was a solemn stillness to the weather with heavy cumulous clouds but hardly a lap of the Atlantic water extending into the shore. I wanted to translate this feeling during a long exposure shot and minimalist square crop as the pristine sand and extensive shallows reached out towards the southwest.
