Behind the Image

While exploring the area around the cliffs of Kilkee, the light unfortunately was nothing particularly inspiring. I did however turn to a more graphic approach for my inspiration when I noticed that the textures and tones along the cliff of the elemental components were quite striking in their arrangement. I took this time to arrange a composition that conveyed a strong representation of the very material that is so often incorporated into a significant amount of dwellings around the west coast of Ireland.
