Behind the Image

Having spent the afternoon on Coral Strand capturing some intimate compositions of the coastline, I wanted to capture another image that reflected the serenity of the conditions I experienced that evening. While I waited gradually to the balance light, many elements came together that I have found reflective of the landscape whilst living in Galway. The iconic stone walls & rolling terrain under blue hour light gave this scene a beautifully soft pastel tonality that emits a sense of calm.
